Chemistry Exp

Today, we have started our chemistry project.
Well, it is a simple titration experiment.
The aim is to test for the concentration of Vitamin C in fruit juices.
The best thing is we can get the results.
Lucky us! Everything flows in the order.

Susan and Ivor bought four different brands of orange juices.
So we started with the brand of orange juice that tastes bad first.
First, we just titrated with 20ml of the sample solution...
and I dont think we can get the end point.
Therefore, the second test, we added 150ml distilled water to it and titrated.
Oh yeah, we could get the end point! ^^
The colour of the solution didnt turn dark blue and turned dark green instead.
Teacher said it is the end point so we just followed.
"Following what told by teacher is a smart student." ;-)
By the end of class, we were able to do two brands of orange juices.
Great job, Group 1! =P

For the other groups, some of them able to do one test while some couldnt do even one.
One group even has to change their experiment. Wish them luck to get a new one.

Hope things continue in the good flow until the end of project.
